This is a pleasant circular tour around Brownsea island. On completing a circumnavigation of the Island, you will have the opportunity to stop off at the island for a break (we will stay on our boards in the shallows of the beaches).
Dramatically located in Poole Harbour, Brownsea island is owned by the National Trust and has spectacular views across the Purbeck Hills. The thriving natural habitats, including woodland, heath land and a lagoon, create a unique haven for wildlife such as the rare red squirrel and a wide variety of birds including dunlin, kingfishers, common and sandwich terns and oystercatchers.
Landing on Brownsea can be pre arranged prior to booking, this is free to National Trust members.
