Although trail experience is not necessary, it is recommended as the terrain can be muddy or loose small rocks depending on the weather, there are areas of exposed tree roots.
If you do not have trail experience then why not try out Trail Taster.
Do I need to be able to run a marathon distance?
The distance is 24miles and is a mix of running at varying paces, the average of 9.45min/mile and hill hiking where required, this is a group run and we will not move on until we all reach the regroup checkpoints (usually on hill tops and junctions)
Can I stop and take photo?
Absolutely YES, there are plenty of points of interest & view points.
What do I need to bring?
1 litre of fluid (water, sports drink) (we can refill at Hinton Ampner)
Fully charged mobile phone
Running hydration bag/vest
Clothing suitable for the weather (we will send an email with clothing advice nearer the event)
Trail running shoes
